Better Building, Ireland’s largest Construction and Property Conference, is to be held on Wednesday 9 April 2014 in Croke Park, sponsored by Ecocem, the low CO² cement provider.
This is the most important building event in Ireland and the best opportunity of the year to be updated on the very latest green building developments and innovations. The 2014 Conference will have over 40 top international and national speakers presenting in three parallel streams, covering topics such as innovation, retrofit and green financing among others.
The Conference will also feature plenty of opportunities to network with lunch, all coffee breaks and a post Conference drinks reception included in the price of the ticket.
Better Building brings together the entire property and construction industry. There were over 500 attendees at the 2013 event, including architects, engineers, contractors, estate agents and investors all there to find out more about the opportunities and challenges for greening the built environment.
We are currently compiling the programme for Better Building 2014 however we can confirm a highlight will be a ‘Frontline’ style debate, chaired by John Bowman, one of Ireland’s most well known and respected broadcasters. This will give participants a chance to join the debate with panelists in a skillfully chaired forum.
John is a long standing presenter of current affairs and political programmes with RTÉ including the audience-participation political programme Questions and Answers on RTÉ One for 21 years.
He also has an interest in societal and sustainable issues and is a past President of the Irish Association for Cultural, Economic and Social Relations and of Comhar, the sustainable development council.
The Better Building conference has established itself as the premier property and construction conference in Ireland and is set to grow further as the single point of reference for industry to catch up on what is happening in the rapid move to a sustainable built environment.
