Radical offers the first genuinelyenergy efficient radiator on themarketplace, offering a 10.5% gassaving compared to a standardheating system – independentlyconfirmed by KIWA – and includessome very clever technology thatmakes it stand apart from thecrowd.

It’s the first ‘serial feed’ radiator onthe UK market place and the firstto come with an integratedthermostatic valve insert.

Standard radiators are ‘parallelfeed’, where the water enters theradiator and is fed via a ‘T’ piece toenter both panels at the same timeand the same rate. A serial feedradiator allows the water to entervia a centre tap connection,directing the water flow into thefront panel first before, aftercirculating around the front panel,the water eventually makes its wayfrom the front panel into the backpanel.

Because the front panel of aRadical heats up first, there’s ahigher average temperature in thefront panel than you get from astandard radiator and less heat islost from the back panel. Thesimple result is that you feelwarmer, faster.

The Radical is an ideal companionto lower temperature renewableheating systems, with the returnflow from the heating system to theboiler being at a lowertemperature, ensuring that thecondensing boiler is actually ableto condense efficiently.

Radical is perfectly suited to bothindividual and collective heatinginstallations and can be connectedto a modulating gas or fuel burnerand is combinable with all kinds oflow temperature systems such asheat pumps, solar cells andbiomass installations.
