Tradespeople across Northern Ireland are eagerly signing up to take advantage of Sortsy, a new local service which connects tradespeople with potential customers in real-time.
Sortsy, which will be available for download on iOS and Android devices, will connect consumers to qualified businesses who can fulfil a huge range of requests, from simple jobs like hanging shelves to more complicated trade projects. Potential customers upload the details of a job as well as when they need it completed by and local tradespeople receive alerts based on location and expertise required.
Sortsy allows tradespeople to receive real-time alerts, filling gaps between scheduled jobs by simply logging in to the app and waiting for the job alerts to appear. Customers also get the satisfaction of receiving quick responses, meaning the work gets done at a time that suits them.
Currently the start-up is building local partnerships, encouraging businesses to try out Sortsy in advance of its autumn launch by offering 150 free trade subscriptions, giving tradespeople an opportunity to experience the benefits of Sortsy. Following their trial, the service will cost a flat fee of £30 per month for unlimited job alerts
Given the low, flat-rate subscription, investment remains minimal for tradespeople and benefits vast. “If the return of jobs sent my way through Sortsy covers the cost of subscription, everything else is a bonus,” said Neil Barr of NI Refurbishments, who has already subscribed as a trusted Sortsy tradesperson.
Sortsy are working to ensure only the best local tradespeople are subscribing to the service. “We are picky with who we let into our community,” said Co-founder Peter Layland. “We’ll turn away tradespeople who cannot meet our criteria to protect our local tradespeople’s reputations. We also ensure all of our recruits are familiar with the app before their registration is complete to ensure they are getting the most from Sortsy.”
To take advantage of one of 150 FREE subscriptions for local tradespeople offered by Sortsy, register your business with Sortsy today at http://sortsy.co.uk/firstin.
