If you are successful with your quotation and the homeowner /project manager decides to give you the order to commence with the Job/Project, you must then agree your terms and conditions of payment and schedule the work. Once it's all complete, the homeowner can rate you on quality, reliability and value. Get some reviews under your belt to grow the reputation you need to win bigger projects.
