On hearing that a local home owner had won a recent competition on the Radio, to have a high efficient Grant boiler installed in their home, Richard Gilpin of Newell Boiler Services said “We were over the moon to hear of their win, and delighted that it was one of our existing customers. Jennifer and her family have been with us for some time now. We were subsequently asked by Grant, as their service agent in this area, to install the boiler on their behalf.”

Our company currently provides warranty service for the GRANT range of oil boilers and are also accredited installers for the WORCESTER BOSCH range of oil fired boilers. We have recently become TANKMARK registered installers, which is a nationwide network of fuel & oil storage tank installers. (Administrated by Harlequin Oil Tanks). We are listed on the HONEYWELL websites ‘Find an Installer’ as experienced and competent installers of their range of heating controllers.

As with any fossil fuel burning appliance, poor or inadequate servicing can cause the generation of carbon monoxide. Therefore, it is absolutely vital that your boiler is checked and serviced at least annually. Carbon monoxide is a highly toxic poisonous gas. It is odourless, colourless and tasteless and therefore difficult to detect. All services include a test for Carbon Monoxide as well as testing the combustion of the burner using a calibrated Flue Gas Analyser.
