Alpha Quarry Products Ltd evolved from C E Stevenson & Sons, which was formed by Cyril Stevenson in 1948, using a small loan from a family member.

In the following years his sons joined with their father in a working partnership that was to last over 40 years. Upon Cyril and Edward’s retirement in 2004, the business continued under the management and ownership of Ronnie and Paul Stevenson. This second generation business – with many second generation employees – continued to grow from strength to strength, with many loyal customers and a dedicated workforce who together have enabled us to build the business into the lean modern company it is today. The thousands of orders we process monthly are a testament of our ability to provide consistency in both quality and service. A further restructuring took place in March 2013 with Alpha Quarry Products Ltd being formed.

Alpha Quarry Products Ltd supply ready mix and floor screeds (Eco Hemihydrate Liquid Screed) quarry materials and precast concrete products. Our version of liquid screed has been a huge success, using only the best binders available giving a dust/laitance free finish. Inferior screeds needing aftercare and preparation before tiling, but Eco-Screed needs none.

The Alpha Recycling Process is located in our Castlenavan Quarry and has proven to be a very successful process that turns excess quarry blinding and dust into eight saleable products for return back into ready mixed concrete, concrete products and re-sale to customers. This recycling process has a direct saving on the consumption of virgin rock from our quarries.
