Guaranteed to be a big plus point to sell on to homeowners, Baxi Potterton Myson is increasing the warranty on the Baxi EcoBlue + Combi to seven years.

Launched in September 2014 with the rest of the Baxi EcoBlue boiler range, the EcoBlue + Combi originally came with a five -year warranty. However, with its exceptional reliability and quality in mind, Baxi Potterton Myson has decided to extend the warranty even further to 7 years, available until 31 December 2015.The Baxi EcoBlue + Combi has proved popular with installers because of its reliability, efficiency and ease of installation.

The entire EcoBlue range was subject to extensive field trials and laboratory testing to ensure it performs to the highest level of reliability.Efficiency is also accounted for as all Baxi EcoBlue boilers have a modulation ratio of 1:5; meaning they are very economical to run. In addition, each boiler has been designed to be easy to install, with a wall jig that has an audible positive fix when the boiler is correctly positioned and accessible connections.Paul Clancy, MD at Baxi Potterton Myson, commented: “Our Baxi EcoBlue range really is an exceptional portfolio of products –offering installers the highest level of quality and reliability. So, in order to demonstrate just how confident we are in our product –we are extending the warranty on the Baxi EcoBlue + Combi to seven years, having already extended the warranty on the Baxi EcoBlue Advance Combi to 10 years in January. As we all know,a long warranty can make all the difference in the decision process for the homeowner so the result is an easy sell for the busy installer.”To coincide with this activity, Baxi Potterton Myson is urging installers not to forget to remind their customers about the importance of fulfilling their warranty obligations.”Paul added: “A long warranty is all well and good but, as an industry,we must continue to remind customers that if they fail to register it or don’t comply with certain conditions it could be rendered useless. For example, many homeowners are not aware that they should have an annual service and, in fact, in failing to do so they could invalidate their warranty. Plus, among other things, many won’t realise that their boiler’s warranty should be registered with the manufacturer within 30 days of installation. Therefore, it may sound obvious but, as the first point of call, installers have an important role in communicating the conditions of the warranty to the homeowner, helping them to understand what they should do to ensure its validity. The result will be a happy and informed customer who will confidently recommend them to others, creating further opportunities.”For further info, visit the Baxi Potterton Myson website www.baxipottertonmyson.ie
