Schiedel’s New Single Wall Double Wall Adjustable Starter Section

As a new addition to the Eco ICID and Prima Smooth ranges, Schiedel have introduced a sleeved adaptor, which is used to connect from Prima Smooth to Eco ICID and provides a great aesthetic finish, whilst providing flexibility on site for the installer.
The protruding male spigot of the adaptor slides down inside the female socket of the Prima Smooth pipe, which then slides up within the conical section of the starter adaptor. The Prima Smooth can slide up to a maximum length of 75mm with a minimum length of 15mm to ensure a secure connection.
The maximum 75 mm length leaves sufficient space within the adaptor to allow for thermal expansion of the single wall pipe and allows for the connecting flue pipe to be removed without cutting, if the appliance has to be moved for servicing.
