One of Ulster Carpets most recent projects is set to become part of a worldwide phenomenon.
Ulster proudly designed andmanufactured more than 2300m²of luxury axminster carpet forTitanic Belfast, the iconic buildingcelebrating the story of the world’smost famous ship, the Titanic.
Helping to recreate the elegantsurroundings of the first classlounge in the new Titanic-themedbanqueting areas, Ulster basedtheir designs on the originalpatterns that would have gracedthe floors of the luxurious steamliner.
A simple geometric design with alimited colour palette depicts therestrictions of carpet design at theturn of the 19th Century. Today,however, Ulster’s uniquePSYLO™ weaving technologyoffers total design freedom with norestraints on pattern repeat orscale of design from a palette of up to 25 colours.

Titanic Belfast is an iconic six-floorbuilding featuring nine interpretiveand interactive galleries thatexplore the sights and stories of
Titanic, as well as the City andpeople which made her. It is theworld’s largest Titanic exhibition.Visitors will learn about theconstruction of RMS Titanic andthe rich story of Northern Ireland’sindustrial and maritime heritage.
