Traditionally, radiators have been horizontal by design, but since the launch of the first vertical radiators more than five years ago, Stelrad’s range of vertical radiators has found favour across the board – but in particular with interior decorators who have seen them as addition as to the décor rather than functional heat emitters.

As well as having a smaller wall footprint, they can have a larger heating surface area as they are available in heights up to 2200mm and a variety of widths. And with the increase in decorative radiator designs available from Stelrad, they are being seen in more places – in homes, but also in offices (the Vertical Planar design as pictured) and commercial premises – hotels, leisure facilities and retail establishments as well.
